Healthy Air for Motorist

Not many of us know, if the dangers are more susceptible to air pollution for people who are in cars rather than pedestrians. Really?
Do not think because we sit in the car, we can avoid the dangers of pollution. It's all wrong. Why? Because the car did not have good air exchange system and can not do the cleanup itself. And this makes the air pollution inside a car that is harmful to our health.
Air pollution inside a car can be caused by factors from within and outside our vehicle, such as:
1. Factors outside of harmful substances that enter through the open windows and doors, such as carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, and nitrogen.
2. Concentration level of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are redundant in deodorizers, cleaners and car care products we could be the cause of cancer, eye irritation, and disorders of the respiratory system.
3. Contamination of other chemical compounds in the car. For example on a new car there is usually a compound such as benzene, acetone, formaldehyde is toxic. In addition, cigarette smoke has also been proven to reduce air quality inside our car.
4. Viruses and bacteria that arise when there is a passenger car that is being affected by disease or lack of cleaning our air conditioning and ventilation of the car. As a result, the condition of the dirty air conditioning can trigger fungal proliferation.
Do not trigger a panic after learning the dangers that we go around while driving. Quite overcome by ...
1. Controlling the cause. Do car service regularly, because as we all know smoke in motor vehicles became the main contributor of air pollution in urban areas. Reduce air pollution by choosing to walk or use bicycles to travel shorter distances.
2. Do check on air conditioner filters, oil compressors, blower motor and evaporator at regular intervals whenever the car reaches 10,000 miles. Open the window of our vehicle when in the mountains, it can improve the air quality inside the car.
3. The use of proper cleaning. Use cleaners with HEPA filters are more effective in filtering the dirty air. As for eliminating odors, we can use natural ingredients such as baking soda and vinegar. If the smell does not go away, use cleaner carbon technology as an option. (Christina / Astrid Anastasia)
