Healthy Environment Needs Healthy Air

We already know that a healthy diet, use enough water is necessary for health but we also need to live in a clean environment, to get proper sunlight and clean air, free from the toxic chemicals, dust, smoke and hazardous vapors every days.

Sunlight provides the growth and energy for all living beings. What are the benefits of sunlight for human health?

1. Sunlight produces vitamin D. A large amount of cholesterol deposits located under the skin. At the time filtered ultraviolet rays on the skin, he changed it deposits cholesterol into vitamin D. Exposes a portion of the body to the rays of sun for 5 minutes to give 400 units of vitamin D. (People need 400 units per day according to the RDA, USA).

2. Sunlight reduces blood cholesterol. By changing the cholesterol in the skin to vitamin D, causing the body to give warning to the cholesterol in the blood to exit from the blood into the skin, thus reducing the cholesterol in the blood.

3. Sunlight reduces blood sugar. Sunlight is like insulin by providing ease of absorption of glucose into body cells. It stimulates the body to convert blood sugar (glucose) into sugars that are stored (glycogen), stored in the liver don muscle, thus lowering blood sugar.

4. Sunlight is the antidote to infection and bacteria killer. The sun can kill disease bacteria, viruses and fungi. It is useful for the treatment of tuberculosis (tbc), erysipelas, blood poisoning, peritonitis, pneumonia, mumps, asthma airways. Even some of the cancer-causing virus is destroyed by ultraviolet light. Fungal infections, including candida, react to sunlight. Bacteria in the air in 10 minutes destroyed by ultraviolet light.

5. Sunshine improve respiratory fitness. Sun rays can increase the blood capacity to carry oxygen and distribute it to tissues. This means plenty of oxygen available to be brought to the muscles during exercise. Another factor that could help improve respiratory fitness is that the increase in liver glycogen and muscle after sunbathing .

6. Sunshine helps in forming and repairing the bones. With increasing levels of vitamin D in the body because it is exposed to sunlight, may increase calcium absorption. This helps the formation and repair of bones and prevent diseases such as rickets and osteomalacia (softening of bone is abnormal).

7. Sunshine improve some kind of immunity. Sunlight adds white blood cells, especially lymphocytes, which are used to attack the disease. Antibodies (gamma globulins) increases. This influence lasted until 3 weeks. Nitrofil kills germs faster after breathing in the sunlight. Ten minutes under ultraviolet light once or twice per week reduced 30-40 percent of the flu.

Yes, the sun actually beneficial to us. The best is when you are exposed to sunlight before at 9: 00 am and after 4:00 pm. At the time where you do not get short-rays. However, please be careful. Sunlight can also be dangerous. Too long in the sun can cause the following things:

1. Sun rays cause sunburn. Too much sunlight, even on cloudy days your skin can cause burns (clouds could filter out a lot of light beams visible and infrared, but 80% of ultraviolet radiation can penetrate the cloud). UV-B is part of the ultraviolet spectrum that burns the skin and only 0.2 percent of the power of this radiation to the earth's surface. A breeze can be more danger.

2. Sunlight can increase the risk of skin cancer. Most of sunlight by high blood triglycerides is the biggest factor of skin cancer.

3. Sunlight accelerates the aging process

Z.R. Kime in "Sunlight Could Save Your Life", states that the increasing use of refined vegetable oil (polyunsaturated), causing increasing presence of "free radicals" on the skin. These free radicals are part of the molecule (fragmented) with a trend causing damage to the outermost layer of skin tissue, the main cause of premature aging - wrinkles the skin. A scientist close half of the stone plates with the bacteria that grow on it, and the other half illuminated by direct sunlight. Sections covered dish full of bacteria, but nothing is growing at half the plate that gets sunlight. All bacteria have been killed. If we open the blinds and windows wide to the sun we get into our rooms, after a period of time, sunlight will kill the bacteria in the dust the windows and floors, so it makes the house into a healthier place to live.

AIR necessary for life. Humans can live without food for 7 weeks, without water for 7 days and without the air only for 7 minutes. The lungs continue to process the air, inhale and exhale about 20,000 liters of air per day. While the air is inhaled into the lungs, changes in oxygen and carbon dioxide takes place millions of alveoli, an air bag, such as rubber. The alveoli are coated in a network capillary (smooth vessels) which contain blood. Substitution of oxygen and carbon dioxide be completed within milliseconds, and a full round of blood throughout the body requires about one minute.

Air pollution from the smokestacks of cars, trucks and aircraft, heavy industries and some types of electric power plant is slowly polluting the air quality. But other sources of pollution which has become a common health problems are most serious is SMOKING.

The problem for active smokers is often called the influence of the "ABC". Among them are:

A-Atherosclerosis (hardening artery / big)

B - Bronchitis (cough smoker) - bronchitis chronic / chronic with chronic cough, dyspnea, spitting up phlegm and mucus to emphysema (swelling of the lungs).

C - Cancer (cancer)

30% of all death of cancer associated with smoking.

Smoking is the leading cause of cancer:

Lung, trachea and bronchus 90%

Larynx (voice pouch) 84%

Oral cavity (lip, tongue, throat) 92%

Esophagus 78%

Pancreas 29%

Bladder (bladder) 47%

Kidneys 48%

The problem for second-hand smoke a concern of the American Heart Association. They publish a scientific paper that predicted that those exposed to secondhand smoke increases the risk of death from heart disease until 30% and causes up to 40,000 deaths per year. Another danger of smokers who inadvertently this is painful eyes, cough, headache, nasal inflammation, aggravate asthma and allergic respiratory disease, narrowing of the airways. There is a 30% risk of lung cancer. Children have bronchitis (respiratory disease) and pneumonia (pneumonia).

Yes, smoking has become a public health problem because it is not only harmful to the smoker but pollute the air of those who do not smoke. We need to breathe clean air, clearer, and fresher.

Air quality produce good body health. Where can we obtain it? The most healthful air originating from locations around the trees or green plants or the edge of the sea. Previously, it is considered that the good air is oxygen clean and melt. Now increasingly evident that the best air must contain oxygen electrically generated by trees or plants that float in the sea, which provides nearly 90% of oxygen in our atmosphere, while the rest come from plants on land.

We feel refreshed when approaching a waterfall or ocean. In the mountains where there is abundantly air with negative ions, tourist and vacation area. Regrettably, air pollution and smoke reduces the amount of negative ions contained in the air we breathe. Negative ions in the air in a room quickly lost by the absorption of iron and plastic furniture, synthetic clothing, for example, polyester don channel air conditioning equipment (AC). Electrical goods generate positive ions.

That's why, to attempt to breathe naturally electrified, example, morning exercise in the open air, thus giving vitality to the blood and nervous system, which can not be achieved in the airless, air velocity in the room smoky, crowded offices and a noisy factory.

Where possible, the air conditioning system can acquire at least 10% air into the instrument to produce freshness. This will increase alertness and creativity of its inhabitants. Another precaution is that trees do not carelessly cut down, because we owe it to these trees to proclaim the vitality of the air.

Psychological influences appear if air pollution is important that inhibits oxygen from entering the body. The cells are easily affected by less oxygen is brain cells, especially in centers of higher associated with thoughts, wishes, and emotional considerations. People whose behavior is quite high without oxygen often confused, awkward and irritable. Even living in a poorly ventilated house can cause the mind to be not useful.

The only way one can get the oxygen is by breathing air. Many people who do not make the most natural ability of their lungs. Their breathing shallow, using only the top of his lungs. Learning how to breathe with the stomach (diagfragma) and with good posture is two key ingredients to breathe properly.

Breathing exercises with the Diaphragm:

1. While standing, raise your hands through over your head

2. Breathe slowly, mouth closed. Usually the lower ribs will widen.

3. Chest stretch as far as possible while pulling the breath. At the height of breath, once again breathe the air.

4. With mouth open, let all the air out while slowly bending. Cough to issue a final air.

5. Repeat 5 to 10 times every morning.

While changing your lifestyle, tastedry under the sun and breathe the fresh air that you have a healthy life.
